Your hosts at Motel de la Mer - Tanja, Santani and 4 year old Shya took ownership in February 2021. The motel was extensively renovated prior to this.

This is a new venture for our family who live onsite. We have previously been living in the Hawkes Bay coastal community, Haumoana, located out towards Cape Kidnappers.

Our combined skills in Hospitality and real estate (Santani) and Travel and tourism (Tanja) made our decision to venture into tourism accommodation a relatively easy and exciting one.
We found an opportunity within the tourism accommodation sector, for something homely, luxurious and personable at an affordable price.
